Portland
I wasn’t feeling very well today, and so I curled up in my clandestine room in the warm glow of my monitor and googled for blogs and websites pertaining to Portland, namely sites that interested me, so, no mommy blogs, no craft blogs, no news or political blogs.
Instead, blogs like these:
- Another Portland Blog–photos and interesting stories pertaining to the Rose City;
- Food Carts Portland–of special interest to me as I live within walking distance of a collection of them;
- Fresh Pot–a local coffee shop is very proud of their baristas and their offerings;
- i heart media–a personal blog with photos and enough text entries for me to forgive the occasional entry about her children;
- links clips notes etc.–a quirky site with doodles that draw my eye, I added this one on a whim;
- Overheard in PDX–weird, funny, and wtf conversations overheard out in the wild;
- Pioneer Courthouse Square–Portland’s living room, complete with entertainment events free to the public;
- Portland is Awesome–I’m not sold on the “awesome” part but there are some interesting entries therein;
- Powell’s–if you haven’t heard about the best bookstore in the world, visit my city and acquaint yourself;
- Trimetiquette–not sure how long this’ll remain on my blogroll, some of the entries are a bit nitpicky, but interesting how the public treats their transit system;
- Urban Honking–I’m not quite sure what this website is about, I added it for its quirkiness.

A special mention for one website that won’t be going in my sidebar but a cause that always makes me grin: the World Naked Bike Ride in Portland, which occurs in a few days.
